I finally submitted to peer/family pressure to create a blog.....so here goes.
I have been browzing the blogs of family and friends and I admit it does help to feel connected to those I haven't seen in a while. I will warn you my blogs may sound ornery sometimes....(mostly the first week of every month). But I will try hard to be uplifting and encouraging.
My sweetie called me a couple days ago and asked if I could find a babysitter for the kids to stay at this weekend. He won (at work) a 2 night stay at the PGA golf course hotel (I am invited to accompany him)and a golf tournament to boot (which I will not be involved in). So I am looking forward to a weekend with him and a little R & R. I recently drove 15 hours to Idaho to visit Family and Friends and when I returned I came home to a houseful of my sweetie's family and then got them on the road at the end of the weekend to have dinner guests for Sunday night dinner so needless to say after the dinner guests I have been trying to catch up on my rest between a dentist appointment (Has anyone out there had what my dentist calls a "catch-up cleaning?) then a heavy duty grocery trip to restock after trip and guests, a movie afternoon (Horton hears a Who ****) and other such necessities. Next week will be massive cleaning efforts cause anyone who knows me well knows that the deep cleaning gets done when I have a social function that I am hosting. Next week I host both Bunko Group and a Pampered Chef Club meeting one night after the other. So I will try to make my "lived in" house look like it is.......well....not. Yeah! I love giving into peer pressure myself! So excited you have a blog! Now we need to see some pics of those adorable kiddos. I know it takes time none of us have to update a ridiculous thing like a blog, but it's such a great way to keep up with everyone! Can't wait to see more!
Whow, so I just read on your little bio section that you are now in Colorado! So jealous! Out of everywhere I have lived Colorado was one of my favorite places. Hope you are enjoying it. Would love to see pics of your new home.
